Microelectronic and Micromechanics convergence, wireless sensors network communication capability, low power consumption, convergence with microrobotics, what can produce in the near future?
What we are going to see is a new web paradigm called web 3.0; it's the world of convergence between physical and virtual world.

What will be the impact on industries productions? What will be the new applications enabled by advanced IT technologies and Broad Band IP networks in a pervasive communication environment?
The possibility to get real time information directly from physical world, and to give command to robots, could change production and distribution chain.

The project aims to understanding the ecosystem of decentralized production with its new logistics and the enabling role of telecommunications, including customized production and customer care as service.
